The family of Joseph Irungu alias Jowie is appealing for help to raise Ksh 3.5 million for a relative who needs an urgent bone marrow transplant.

Taking to his social media, Jowie who now goes by the name Kush Irungu penned.

Jowie has been less active on social media after he was released on a Ksh 3m bond. He spent one and a half years in prison.

This saw him give his social media account a total over haul.

It all started with Jowie, the main suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder, deleting most of the photos leaving only those with close ‘real’ friends and family members.

The suspect now lives at his parents’ home in Nakuru and will be reporting to the area chief’s office monthly as ordered by the court.

He has deleted the 16 remaining posts on his account and follows 289 people. He has 27.9k followers.
