Here Is The Full List Of Tanzanian Super Stars Arraigned In Court For Drug Dealing

The war on drugs in Tanzania has netted some of the top stars in the movie and music industry. Almost all the suspects put under police watch at the court are known Tanzanian personalities.

At the Kisutu court on Tuesday (07.02), the suspects were brought in two different sets and surprisingly enough, Wema Sepetu was not among them.

Lulu Abbas Chelangwa alias Luludiva (Set 1)

Principal Resident Magistrate Cyprian Mkeha presided over the first set, while Principal Resident Magistrate Huruma Shaidi conducted the proceedings of suspects in the second group.

The first group received tougher conditions as compared to the second one. Suspects in the first group were ordered to execute bond of 20m/- (Kenyan Sh 928,366) each with one reliable surety, who would sign bond of a similar amount.

The suspects were also ordered to report to the Central Police Station in the city twice a month and that such order would remain in force for three years. Mkeha ruled that there was no any other way the suspects could be monitored on their behaviour without reporting to the police. He pointed out further that before their arraignment, there was no doubt that the suspects were subjected to interrogation by the police.

The second group, before Magistrate Shaidi, got more lenient conditions, as the suspects were required to execute personal bonds without sureties of 10m/- (Kenyan Sh464,230). They were also required to report to the police station twice a month, but such order would subsist for only one year.
