"I am the lady that was involved with a priest and needed help. Thanks for posting my story on your platform. I've gone through the comments and I appreciate the comments good and bad. However, every well meaning person keeps saying the same thing. Tell your mummy, leave his ass etc. Dear ppl, I've tried to leave him several times but he keeps coming back. When ever I try to leave, he goes from beating to threatening to begging. Once he threatened to go public and expose our affair to my parents and everyone.

Another time he threatened me with a gun. I got so scared I obeyed him and did whatever he said. We eventually broke up 4 like 5months and I started seeing someone thinking I was free. But he showed up and threatened to kill him too. He tells me he's the only husband I can ever have. That I'm his wife and he'll rather see me dead than with someone else and I believe him. He's mean like that. It's like I'm under a spell or something. Despite all the emotional and physical abuse I still love him down to my soul.

Finally I left him after I almost lost an eye in a round of beating in June. I changed my lines and stayed as far away as possible but last week he called me; begging an promising me heaven and earth. I think he tricked my mom into giving him my new number. Now I'm so scared because he show up any moment n I don't know what to do."
