A cyclist has stunned and surprised Kenyans when she posted images of herself riding her bike while heavily pregnant.

Many might not know that cycling when a woman is pregnant is actually advisable. Some of its benefits are below:

-Cycling can be better than walking making it easier on the joints and muscles as it can lessen the aches and pains.

-Pregnant women who cycle more are less likely to suffer from depression and insomnia.

-It is a low impact exercise just like swimming and lessens the strain on your body.

-Because it lowers stress, it also lowers cortisol levels. It is also a great way of maintaining sugar, healthy body weight and blood pressure.
