Kenyans are still coming to terms with the untimely passing of renowned media personality Grace Makosewe who was found dead on Wednesday, October 25 in her Ngumo apartment in Nairobi.

Although the cause of her death is yet to be established, Kenyans have hailed the former Capital FM host as a woman who was full of life and had a heart of gold.

What remains unknown to many is that Grace did a lot to help the poor. Actually, she did more than any other local celebrity when it came to helping the destitute.

Read:

Through an organization she founded dubbed "The Galpad", the deceased visited villages all around the country distributing sanitary pads to poor girls who could not afford one.

Before she died, Makosewe had visited more than ten schools in Migori County including Lwala Primary, Osogo Primary, Ober Primary, Kolwal Primary among others.

But that's not all. When her team visited these schools, they would educate the girls on matters pertaining to sex, HIV/AIDS, rape, reproductive health etc.

Famous American poet Maya Angelou once said: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how made them feel." Rest in Peace Grace.
