Papa Dennis looked uneasy before he met his death, Nairobi Records producer Luva has revealed.

Speaking to Mpasho in a phone interview, the producer said he asked him if he was okay after he seemed uneasy and Papa said he was okay.

"He did not show any sign that he was having a problem although he looked uneasy," he said.

Papa Dennis passed on last night and his death was announced on social media by other celebrities at around midnight.

No police communication has been released as yet.

Terrence Creative posted a photo of Papa Dennis and captioned it "Rest in Peace Papa Dennis. May God protect us, artists. It is so sad, yaani, something must be addressed."

Papa's producer, Luva explained what transpired last night when the star died.

He said,

"Nobody is able to explain what really happened even as per now we are figuring out what happened," he said.

Adding that they had a recording session with him overnight and they were okay doing some recordings together.

"Maybe he had his own issues that were private but the detectives have not revealed what happened because to us we thought it was a road accident all we heard was a thud, we cannot establish if it was a car hitting him or him falling from the building, because he was found somewhere between a building and the highway."

The detectives promised to come back and so we are waiting.

Luva and Papa had just parted ways when he was alerted through a phone call. He went back towards the studio and found him lying on the ground, lifeless.

"I was in town when it happened and we had just parted ways with him like ten minutes ago then I was called after he fell down," he said.

Papa Dennis has been recording with Nairobi Records owned by legendary producer Mash Mjukuu.
