Jasmine Macharia, wife to gospel spin master DJ Gee Gee of Citizen TV, has shared the horror the two went through after their son developed convulsions.

According to the mother of one, no medication was working and just when they were deliberating what to do, tragedy struck.

It all started on Wednesday and happened so fast. He went from being his normal playful self to an extreme fever in a few hours. Calpol wasnt working and what the doctor had prescribed was helping for a bit then he was back to a high fever. Just as we were discussing taking him to hospital since we knew he couldn't make it to the next morning appointment with his doctor, he convulsed. I've never seen something so traumatizing. I can't even think about it without crying.
