A Nairobi hawker has landed in hot soup simply because he was unable to control his anger or mull over the dire consequences of his actions.

Cyrus Kagutha was arraigned in court on Friday morning and charged with disrespecting Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.

The man who is said to be the Chairman of Wakulima Market reportedly threw a sack full of rotten fruits at Kidero who was trying to address a gathering that had convened.

It is still not yet clear whether the fruits actually hit the Governor or if his security detail was able to shield him.

Appearing in court today morning, Mr Kagutha pleaded guilty to the charges and the case will continue today at 2 p.m.
