Singer Matonya well known for his song Anita where he featured Lady Jay D is lamenting.

He has called out Diamond for jacking his idea.

He released a song 4 years ago which did not scoop as many views as possible on YouTube as expected from a bongo star pioneer. The song, Zilipendwa talks about trends that were, but eventually came to be embraced again.

Now, Matonya claims that Diamond and his WCB have shamelessly jacked his idea in their newly released single by the same name, Zilipendwa.

This has not made Matonya happy.

For him, he says it's about growth. He does not understand why he has not been given credits yet the idea and the beat is his. He does not want money he says, all he wants is the respect to ask him and credit his work and creativity.

He went on Instagram to lament and make it clear what he really wants from Wasafi Records. The video by Wasafi Records has already hit a million plus views in just three days and is trending number one on You Tube.

He said,

People took it to the Instagram post telling him his time was then and he should stop looking for fame and relevance in any way.

The question remains, is this really stealing or rather copying Matonya's idea or is it a remix?
