The hot topic this week has been the fact that a former Camp Mulla member is an Uber driver.

People have discussed the merits and demerits of the job after an Uber driver posted a photo of the total amount of money he makes in a week. The photo showed that after all the deductions the Uber driver make a little less than Sh60,000 in a week.

This has spurred on a media personality to try his luck with the taxi app. Former Ghetto Radio programmes controller and radio presenter Mwafrika has confessed that soon he will be entering his car into the Uber business.

In addition to that he will be driving his car as well instead of paying someone else to do it for him.

He posted this news on his social media platforms.

"Ati maisha ni ngumu? This year am doing this Uber shit for two reasons:

1. Money Money Money

2. Conversations with random people coz as a creative I need that.

Wewe Cheka mtu anatengeneza pesa. Uber is worth $68 billion dollars, do the math. Uber is not a full time job, you work your own hours so why not. You might not respect the job but you'll respect the money. Be ready for an article on the broke Mwafreeka soon."

He added, "This year am driving an Uber I just need a car that's a newer model then boom, I'll be on the road. Let someone write articles. Am sure I'll enjoy that more than working under Manwa Magoma."
