The gospel power couple DJ Mo and Size 8 have unveiled their family business a carwash, barbershop and a beauty parlour on Dennis Pritt Road, Kilelesha.

DJ Mo in an exclusive interview with Mpasho.co.ke talked about the inspiration behind starting the business.

"There are many places I go to get my car washed and I get frustrated. I opened Friend's barbershop/ carwash/ beauty parlour because I love cars and that is something I have always wanted to do. We will focus on detailing as well."

A family that prays together stays together. The same applies to business as well. Hustling together seems to create stronger bonds.

DJ Mo was asked what was the first argument they had as a couple.

He said, "Heeee! which one was it? We have has many arguments, I cannot remember what it was. But arguments are on and off."

Adding, "It has never been a walk in the park. It can only be when you are dating because people pretend a lot. Many people cannot even nyamba mbele za boyfriend or girlfriend zao. Funny enough, they cannot do that but utaoa tuu uone."

DJ Mo continued, "When you are dating, you have never seen her without makeup but when it comes to marriage you get to see the real side of that person. The fact that you are tolerating him/her shows love.

The gospel VJ noted, "Be real to each other, show your other side don't hide it ati hamuezi onyeshana ma styles. Hizo ni vitu za marriage."

The TV host concluded, "Najua mtu mjanja ameshikanisha."

DJ Mo gave his secret in a successful marriage.

"Tolerating each other and putting God first. Also, you must all realise that you come from different backgrounds."
