Ivan 'the don' Semwanga's body is not yet even cold and the battle for his property has ensued.

According to various media sources, Zari Hassan - Ivan's ex-wife - is butting heads with Ivan's brothers over who gets ownership of his wealth.

One Ugandan media outlet claims,

“It’s true Zari called Ivan’s brother Sir Pinto and told him that she is gonna take all of Ivan’s assets 100%. That she will continue to be with Platnumz as she also takes everything,” says Ivan Semwanga’s cousin and right hand man, King Lawrence.

Ugandan tabloids claim that Ivan’s relatives believe, Zari's main intentions for "camping" at the hospital was so that she would "grab" Ivan’s property once he breathed his last.

“I warned her not to ever think about it. She takes advantage because I’m busy with my businesses in another area so that is why she has taken over everything because Ivan’s brothers are weak alcoholics. I went there and put her in a straight line and told her even Mandela never gave up,” Ivan's brother spilled to the media house.

Zari bore Ivan three sons during their decade-long marriage. She is currently married to Diamond Platnumz and the couple has two children together.

A Ugandan journalist, Carol Ariba posted on her Facebook page,

"There is a brewing going on that guy died on Sunday and she was cleaning up everything, that's when the argument began. I don't know, hehe..."

This was in reaction to an audio clip making rounds online that sound like people arguing in Luganda. Pundits claim that it is an argument between Zari and Ivan's relatives. The authenticity of the audio is yet to be verified.

Carol Ariba: 'The proven otherwise' I gave because I was raised by my auntie...... Other than that, I think no one but Zari should be the one person naturally with the children's best interest. It is the children's property and it is sad that the relatives are already clinging.
