Popular businessman and politician Benson Gatu seems to be over Mike Sonko's daughter Saumu.

Gatu, who sired a child with Saumu, broke up mid this year and the governor's daughter cited infidelity as the main cause of their separation.

"I’M TIRED OF WAKING UP EVERY MORNING GETTING DIFFERENT STORIES ABOUT ME ON THIS CHEAP BLOGS. JUST TO CLEAR THE AIR I WAS NEVER MARRIED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I’M JUST A WOMAN WHO REALIZED MY WORTH BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE .YES WE BROKE UP .I’M JUST TOO YOUNG TO GO THROUGH SUCH BULLSHIT OF A MAN MOVING FROM ONE POLITICIAN’S DAUGHTER TO ANOTHER FOR HIS SELFISH BENEFITS," she said.

While they were dating, Benson Gatu, who made many think that he was the right choice for Saumu, revealed in a past interview that he wanted him and his baby mama to be the Bill and Hillary Clinton of Kenyan politics.

"HAVING A FIANCÉE FROM A POLITICAL FAMILY WAS A GOOD THING AND THAT HE WOULD LIKE HE AND SAUMU TO BE THE ‘BILL AND HILARY’ OF KENYAN POLITICS."

But this never happened.

Benson Gatu, who unsuccessfully vied for the Mathioya parliamentary seat in Murang’a County is currently dating Rachael Wanja, the daughter of Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria.

The two have been seen together in public attending several functions and who knows, they might tie the knot soon if Gatu doesn't dump her like his previous girlfriends.

Wanja is smitten with love and she recently shared a post talking about her relationship with Gatu.

"A perfectly put together mess💙"

In another post she wrote;

"We worry about tomorrow like it's promised....Live now, be happy."
