The Christmas holidays are here. They are going to be the longest ever in the history of the Kenyan education system. Schools have been closed for two good months. It's going to be tough for parents and guardians out here. But I have some advice to these young school goers. Don't just sit at home waiting for your parents to provide for you everything.

Well, below are the 6 ways to make money before Christmas, go through and thank me later.

1. Start selling food

Food business is the most profitable idea yet. People have to eat. Start selling smokies, eggs, chapatis or any other food around your estate or at construction sites. No denied because of hawking food! Wake up your lazy ass and do something.

2. Start up a car wash in the estate

This is a great way of making money. Stop idling around and start a car wash business with your friends. One car is 150/- so you can imagine how much you will make in a day if you were to wash ten cars.

3. Be a prediction specialist

Betting is currently the booming business in Kenya. Instead of just sitting in the house the whole day watching TV and doing nothing be a sports prediction specialist. Check out which teams are playing and give out a list of possible wins and if you get it correct, let those who bet or used your prediction list to give you 10%. Isn't this a good deal?

4. Modelling - part time sales in supermarkets and road shows

There are a lot of sales promotion going on this festive season. Instead of relying on your parents to give you money to buy stuff for X-mass, why can't you apply for sales jobs and make your own money? If you are a talented dancer, you can also participate in road shows, entertain people and get paid handsomely.

5. Offer home delivery services

Kenyans tend to be lazy during the festive season and cooking food and selling in the estate would be a good idea. Also, buy alcohol at wholesale prices and sell it at whichever amount you like. You will make profit.

Dear ladies, this should be your last decision. If all the above fail, then get a sponsor same to men. Get yourself a 'sponsoress' and you will not go around begging your parents for upkeep money.
