Halloween Weekend: How Kenyans Are Celebrating

The Halloween fever has taken over the globe the past few days, with the likes of Canadian singer Drake dressing up as Rapper Kanye and the latter opting for a Comic Con character look. When it comes to Kenya, it is business as usual. With or without costumes Kenyans are partying for the weekend.

You'd probably expect the streets to be filled with 'zombies' -  but no. The weekend atmosphere is the usual, except for the few brave souls who've struggled to do it right.

Halloween is celebrated on the night of October 31st on the eve of St. Patrick's day. People - especially children - wear costumes and go door to door for free candy, in what's known as trick-or-treat.

It seems Kenyans are not getting into the Halloween spirit for all the wrong reasons.
