Mr. Idowu Adeleye who recently clocked 70, his wife, his 7 children & their spouses and his 18 grandchildren, totaling 34 in a family reunion photo-shoot to celebrate his 70th birthday.
The Adeleye family reunion was 1 year in the making. It takes alot of planning and coordination to get 34 people (2 grandparents, 7 children plus 7 spouses and 18 grandchildren) from Lagos, Memphis, Maryland, Dallas and Connecticut together.
The reunion was hosted by the Memphis siblings. It was the first time all the members of the Idowu Adeleye family has been together in the same place in about 23 years. The reunion was a celebration of the patriarch’s and matriarch’s long life.
There was a lot to eat and drink, with lots of laughter, some emotional moments, and reminiscing. It was heartwarming to see the grand-kids interact with each other, some of them meeting each other for the first time.
