TV host Grace Ekirapa has shared how she almost got married to a man she was not in love with just so that she could prove to people she can get married.

In an interview on Chat Spot, the soft spoken TV presenter said were it not for a last minute decision, she would have made what would have been the worst mistake of her life.

The problem was that the man is question was too good to her but she only saw him as a friend and not as a lover.

‘In 2017 I was to get married but the relationship broke.

Then I got into another relationship in 2018 and I was to get married on my birthday which was in April.

I got engaged in February and in March I had my traditional wedding in an event attended by 400 people.

But before the wedding I realized I was making a mistake as it was not God’s idea for me.

I took two days off and prayed and it’s after that that I broke the relationship off.’ Grace shared

‘I had been hurt and I was rebelling and wanted to prove to people that I could get married.

I received backlash and people did not understand why I did what I did.

No one knew nor cared about what I was going through.

Right now I am in a happy place.’
