Homosexuality remains a very touchy subject in Kenya today with the practice still regarded as queer by society. A few months after Deputy President William Ruto condemned the act saying it is against Christianity and human nature, Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has banned homosexuality and lesbianism in Eldoret.
According to the Governor, his county will not tolerate what he terms as immoral acts by some individuals operating in parts of the town. He further says that those who want to engage in homosexuality should do so outside the county promising a ruthless crackdown on those involved.
Do you agree with the move by the Governor?
