The Interior Ministry confirmed that at least 147 died and 80 others were injured during the Garissa University attack on April 2.

The Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) led by Muga K'Olale are now accusing the government of lying to the public about the exact number of students killed during the attack.

According to the University lectures and UASU Secretary General, there are still 166 students who are still missing, and they fear they might have been kidnapped by the Al Shabaab militia.
