To be honest, things had gotten too boring in the gospel scene. These guys are there to entertain as much as they are their to minister and while many like the Groove Awards team would have their gospel artists muzzled and neutered like the obedient dogs they should be (or get denied award nominations), the truth is that Jesus asks us to come as we are, warts and all.

But away from my pet peeves and onto the fun bits. Willy Paul has for a long time been under attack for quite sometime for biting various artists style but it's usually mainly for biting Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz style.

And when guys say he is biting Diamond, they mean in virtually every respect. From his name "Msafi" to his style to his music and apparently even cinematography.

And this time round it is none other than rabble rousing gospel artist Ringtone who has taken issue with the blatant biting of Diamond's style.

True to form, expect to see Ringtone get snubbed by gospel award shows who are scared of embarrassing the fact that even though they are in service to God, they are still a part of this world and as such these issues will always come up.
