Award-winning gospel artiste Jimmy Gait has decided to expand his horizons and joined the motorbike business. The Huratiti hit maker together with three other Kenyans, a Chinese and a German are directors of a company that sells the electric powered Gutenberg Motorbikes in Africa.

Jimmy Gait, who is the company's marketing director, has however maintained that he will still be doing music.

"I can't leave music, it gave me the platform and I'll continue creating good music that encourages the youth".

Jimmy Gait gave out five motorbikes to some of his fans who danced to his latest song Dathima, whose video was launched last night at the Churchill Show, where he also gave Churchill a free bike.

"Churchill has inspired me, and I have a lot of respect for him. So I saw it wise to gift him with a digital motorbike that is worth Ksh90,000 and actually consumes only Ksh10 worth of power to run for 100 kilometres."

"Deputy President's wife Rachel Ruto also got herself one of our bikes, and she actually supports the project."
