A few months after winning an award at the Kalasha Awards, our girl Sarah Hassan has made history in the East African entertainment industry. The bubbly former Tahidi High actress bagged the East African Journalist of the Year award at the ceremony which took place in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

Sarah Hassan hosts Discovery 254 on NTV and was previously the host of the Wedding Show on Citizen TV. She covers various fashion events for TV, hence her well-deserved win.

Sarah thanked Mustafa Hassanali, the fashion mogul and founder of the Swahili Week. At the event, she rocked a glorious black and white dress which was designed by the popular Wambui Mukenyi. We want more of these wins Sarah! Keep on making us proud.
