GONE TOO SOON: Kenyan Entrepreneur, Mike Mulwa Shot Dead At A Birmingham, Alabama Gas Station

A Kenyan man succumbed to a gunshot wound after he was shot at a Birmingham Alabama gas station on Saturday night.

Mike Mulwa Ngangi, 29, popularly known as Mike 254 was the proprietor of 254 clothing was taken to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital after the incident and later died from his wound.

According to the Birmingham police, robbery seemed as the likely motive for the shooting.

“People should be able to go to work and return home without being the victim of a crime. Our investigators will work hard to bring this family answers and bring the killer to justice,” Sgt. Bryan Shelton said.

Information courtesy of Jambo net indicates that Mulwa was shot, he called a friend and told him that he had been shot and asked that friend to call 911.

He was a resident of Acworth, Georgia. Mulwa was the son to Violent Mueni and Councillor Ngangi who both live in Kenya. He leaves behind a brother Vincent Mutuku.

Mike Mulwa has also left behind a wife and two children. His wife is expecting a child currently.

Mike's cousin Eric Sukulu who lives in California was saddened by Mulwa's death he had this to say;

''If only that senseless killer knew him, he could not have pulled the trigger,” his cousin Sukulu told . “If only he knew he just had a baby and another on the way, he could not have robbed them of their father.”

Kenyans on social media expressed their sorrow after the news broke.

Many especially in the entertainment scene recalled the times they had spent together and said the last time they were with him was in Dallas Texas during the memorial weekend.
