Mowzey Radio born Moses Sekibogo will still remain the best vocalist East Africa has ever produced. Mowzey Radio of Goodlyfe Crew breathed his last on 1st February 2018 while undergoing treatment at Case clinic, in Kampala, Uganda.

The veteran singer, who will be laid to rest tomorrow at his ancestral home in Kagga village, Nakawuka in Wakiso district, won the hearts of many thanks to his prowess on the mic.

Radio was known for his creativity and he contributed a lot to the African entertainment industry. He has left a big gap and the question is, will Weasel manage to pull crowds alone and continue with their legacy?

Many have praised Mowzey Radio for being a great artiste and here is what one Ugandan showbiz heavyweight Ray Supasta had to say about the late:

"I think we should all just be happy and thank God for one thing; Banange tulabye ku Radio. Yes, WE HAVE SEEN #RADIO. We are so lucky. Very lucky that all he's done and left has been in our generation, and we have seen it.

At least, for this one tebagenda mutunyumiza bunyumiza, it's instead us who will tell our grandkids [the next generation] about a once talented guy called Radio who they missed, whom they never saw. And then we'll start mentioning for them songs he sung and those he wrote for other artists.....the list shall always be endless.

And they'll be filled with wonder and astonishment about the level of his talent.

Am very sure many of his songs today will still be ballads even after many more years to come; and will still be club bangers.

It won't be like how our fathers tell us about how we missed #Herman_Basudde, #Philly_Lutaaya and the rest. Now, it's our time......it's us to tell the next generation, nti "mwe mwasubwa temwaalaba ku muyiimbi gwebaayitanga Radio".

So amidst all the tears, sorrow, grief, mourning and pain, let's all be thankful to God that we have been so lucky and blessed ne tulaba ku RADIO.

Just sit there and imagine how painful it would have been if you were born after all his songs were done and u just find them without witnessing the singer.

Would have been such a painful feeling.

REST IN PEACE RADIO."
