Cancer patients still face many challenges like lack of enough chemotherapy machines, but we hope the government is going to do something to save our loved ones from dying.

"This could happen to anyone....unfortunately am going through a difficult time in my life, fighting a case of leukemia (cancer of the blood) relapse which requires bone marrow transplant at a cost of six million.

My name is George Kiarie, 13yrs from Kenol, Muranga County. I am in Class 7 at Kenol Preparatory School. In the year 2014, I was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer) at Kenyatta National Hospital. I was admitted at the Oncology Ward 1 E for 9months where I underwent chemotherapy sessions. This was intended to clear the cancerous cells. Though my condition improved, the cancer cells did not clear as expected.

My Doctor recommended specialized treatment in India and My parents, relatives, friends and well-wishers joined hands and raised 3 million shillings for the treatment. My father

accompanied me to India where we stayed for a period of six months. I underwent hemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions and was declared cancer free. I came back home healed and went back to school working hard to catch up on lost time. I however continued seeing my doctor for checkups on monthly basis and for nine months, all was fine.

A month ago on a Sunday afternoon, as I was coming from a church service, I felt weak on my legs. I was unable to walk to the point where I had to be supported back home by my mother. I thought it was a mere fatigue but within two days, I could not feel my legs. It was very devastating. I also experienced inability to read or view objects clearly. My parents took me back to Hospital where the doctors ran a series of blood tests. The results from the analysis indicated that the cancer had relapsed affecting the spine and the brain resulting to my inability to walk and see properly.

The doctor thus recommended an immediate treatment plan that involves more chemotherapy sessions and a Bone Marrow Transplant which should be done in India. This will cost Ksh. 6 Million for travel, treatment and stay in India. People of good will, kindly assist me raise the funds and give me another chance to live.
