History repeated itself yesterday at the Nyayo National Stadium after defending Champions Gor Mahia FC won the Kenyan Premier League title for the third consecutive time 3 time after beating Sony Sugar FC. The millers tried hard to bar Gor Mahia from clinching the title, but in the 39th minute, Innocent Wafula scored the lone goal that saw K'ogalo crowned champions with 4 matches to go.

After the game, fans took to the pitch to celebrate the victory and from the jubilation in photos below, one can tell how impressed they were with the players.

The team was not dampened by lack of a sponsor, instead doing their best to emerge top on the log with 4 games to go. The K'ogalo spirit serves as a good lesson for other teams to emulate, so we hope that they will borrow a leaf from them.

Congratulations Gor Mahia!
