A Congolese couple recently left many in shock after revealing that the late Tanzanian actor Steven Kanumba is haunting them.
The couple, pastor Numbi Mwilambwe and his wife Ngoy Mfumuabana revealed that the ghost of the late actor kept appearing to them threatening to harm their newborn son named Felix if they didn’t name him after him (Kanumba).
According to Ngoy, Kanumba first appeared in her dreams severally but when she told her husband, he couldn’t believe and thought it was just nightmares she was having.
After sometime, the couple decided to travel to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania to Kanumba’s mother’s place to tell her whatever was going on. Numbi said:
Whatever brought us to Dar es Salaam is our need to speak to Steven’s mother just like he directed us in our dreams. We do not have relatives here in Dar and we never met the actor when he was still alive.

In an interview with Global Publishers, the couple revealed how their son Felix began falling ill when they decided to ignore Kanumba’s threats little did they know it was serious. Felix’s father went ahead to narrate how they took their child to hospital but nothing changed. He said:
We took him to hospital but he did not get better. All this because we did not heed to what my wife was told in her dreams.
They later bowed to pressure and named their son after Steven Kanumba and everything changed. The disease disappeared and he’s healthy. The veteran succumbed to death in April 2012 after a heated argument between him and actress Elizabeth Michaels aka Lulu. Before she was jailed for a year, Lulu told the court that the deceased wanted to attack her with a Panga after which he fell down and was unconscious. She then ran for her life only to get the news that Kanumba was no more.
