Media personality Willis Raburu and his wife Marya Prudence are separated.

The news made headlines in the interwebs. With the couple keeping mum about the entire issue.

What most people did not realise was, the couple was battling a crippling loss that set them on two separate paths.

The loss of their baby girl, Adana, devastated Willis and Marya.

In one tear-jerking post Marya detailed her pain about losing a child.

PARENTS HAVE THE LABOR, THEY HAVE THE PAIN, THE PUSHING BUT INSTEAD OF THE FIRST CRY OF THEIR NEWBORN THEY HAVE A PIERCING SILENCE. THE ONLY CRIES COME FROM THEM, AS THEIR CHILD IS SILENT AND STILL.

 WHEN YOU’RE TAUGHT ABOUT CHILDBIRTH, YOU HEAR ALL ABOUT LABOUR, THE PAIN, THE PUSHING AND THE HUGE FIRST CRY…BUT FOR MANY PEOPLE THAT ISN’T WHAT CHILDBIRTH LOOKS LIKE.  INSTEAD OF THE HAPPINESS THEY WERE ASSURED OF THEY HAVE HEARTBREAK. A telling instagram post by Marya put up months before she deactivated her account shows the turmoil she was going through.

Marya wrote,

"Mary...Get yourself together!"
