He has been in professional music since 1998, when he co-founded the Voices United Choir.

Chris received his musical training while in the Nairobi School Band as a trombone player between 1993 and 1996. He picked up the piano in 1994 and learnt valuable musical directing skills as he learnt and taught songs to the band.

He has been featured on TV shows including Tusker Project Fame where he was the Song-writing coach, Band leader, Keyboard Player, Judge, Sound Engineer.

In the Tusker All Stars, he was a Musical Director and Keyboard Player. While in The Hatua Show he took the role of Musical Director and Keyboard Player.

Seems the keyboard is truly his thing, because in Coke Studio Africa, he still played keyboard as well as being Musical Arranger and Assisting Musical Director.

He has also been on Samsung Zikistar as a judge and on Airtel Trace Music Star where he sat as judge.
