Last week on Thursday Kenyans were woken to the shocking news that a Westgate type attack was underway at the Moi University Garissa Town Campus. Al-Shabaab militia group ambushed the students in their hostels and left 147 dead and many injured.

The bodies of the 147 victims are lying in Chiromo mortuary although only 113 have been identified.The government has promised to meet the funeral expenses for the victims.
