Kenyan artiste Gabu of the trio P-Unit has mourned the death of Kenyan footballer Kevin Oliech who passed away while undergoing treatment for cancer in Germany.

Sharing a conversation they had, Gabu painted Kevin as a fighter despite doctors putting a tag on his ‘lifespan.’

‘I remember having lunch with kevo and hon. jaguar at kosewe upperhill, which he paid for.

He told me Gabu skiza daktari amenishow niko na 1 year or less kuishi kwa hii dunia.

This is what I want to do, before I die.

I want to make peace with everyone I have wronged.

On a different post, Gabu penned,

‘I am a very sad man tonight. I will miss you my dear brother. Manze hakuna msee alikua roho safi kama wewe bro. May the lord give you a special place in his house. #RIPkevo’

Kevin who was a celebrated footballer passed away after a long battle with cancer. Many have described him as a fighter.

He was the last born in the Oliech family, he is brother to Dennis Oliech.
