Jerusalema is a global hit. The song, which was released on December 13, 2019, by South African DJ and record producer Master KG featuring South African vocalist Nomcebo has gone viral.

It is the first South African song to hit 100 million views on YouTube, thanks to Nomceb and Master KGs excellent work.
As per now, the song has 164 million views, 1.9 million likes and over 68k comments.
The gospel dance song got people worldwide talking about it and it many have done #Jerusaema dance challenge.
In the deep spiritual lyrics, the singer talks about "Jerusalem" as the heavenly city, which is her true home she is looking forward to.
She asks God to walk with her and protect her until he takes her home to heaven.
The song hit at a time the world was facing Covid-19 pandemic and many have turned to God for protection.
