Ever gone to a  stadium to watch a local football match and there is no entertainment from the stadium bands who move around singing and praising footballers? Believe me not you will have the longest day in that stadium. Most of our local matches are always filled to the brim especially the Mashemeji Derby (AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia) with different bands (isukuti) moving from one corner to another singing and cheering their own team.

When it comes to the national team also, there are lots of die hard fans who will always travel as far as Naivasha just to cheer the team. Apart from Jaro Soja, there are other loyal fans who always paint themselves in Harambee Stars colors the love of the team. Some of them include the AFC Leopards and Harambee Stars number one fan Isaac Juma who hails from Nakuru and never misses any football match, Mwangi Wa China of Sofapaka, King of Mohawk and Jakadaddy both Gor Mahia die hards and the traditional isukuti bands led by Ainea Mukaisi who are always on toes on match days.

If you have never attended any local matches, make an effort and visit the stadium next season and for sure you will never want to miss seeing the crazy fans.
