Well, the award wining former photojournalist was trying to send a message to all Kenyans on his 32nd birthday which was celebrated at the Lang’ata cemetery.
Eventually, everyone will die. As a Kenyan, when you die what will you leave behind as a legacy? Will you be remembered as the person who could not speak when the poor were being oppressed? Or are you the one who just sides with the majority as the rich steal from the poor? These are some of the questions the courageous activist who has actually been to hell and back while trying to fight for the common Mwanainchi was asking.
