Recently,  Football Kenya Federation (FKF) promoted two teams; Nakumatt and Homeboyz to the Kenya Premier League (KPL) bringing the number of teams in the top flight to 18 but this news didn't seem to please everyone. KPL CEO Jack Oguda  claimed that FKF National Executive Committee which made the decision to increase the teams to 18 was not properly constituted as the members of division One and KPL were not present as they were never invited to the meetings as required by the constitution.

Oguda maintained that the 18team league was out of question and reconfirmed that 2015 season will bear the normaal 16 team format.

"The sporting intgrity dictates that the relagatiion and promotion is decided at the beggining of the season by all participating clubs. As it has been the norm, the bottom two clubs are relagated and the top two in the lower division promoted"

Who is the boss, FKF or KPL?
