Deputy President, William Ruto has also assured Kenyans that everything is going to be OK.

'We got this together. All is going to be well.

Pray for our country and practice the precautions as advised by the ministry of health.

No foreign hospital will be receiving Covid-19 patients, this is a big lesson to us leaders #CoronaVirusInKenya'

During a presser, the health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that the woman is under quarantine, she can eat and she is behaving 'normally'.

'IT (corona case) WAS CONFIRMED ON 12/03/2020. THE FIRST SINCE THE OUTBREAK IN CHINA.

THE CASE IS THAT OF A KENYAN CITIZEN TRAVELLING BACK HOME FROM US VIA LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM

AS FAR AS CORONA VIRUS IS CONFIRMED IT WAS QUESTION OF WHEN IT WOULD SPREAD.’
