Kenyan female artistes Xtatic, Muthoni DQ, Dora and STL teamed up for the track dubbed "Go Hard." The song was originally planned for release in 2012, but it was pushed back due to unforeseen reasons. The video was finally released yesterday, after a 2-year-wait by fans. A couple days prior to its release, the sexy rappers had teased its release and got loads of comments from eager fans.

Jared Odingah said; "Been wondering when i would actually see my favourite femcees on one track and there it was. Now this is what i will align myself with as dope kenyan hiphop. This one WENT HARD for real. *hits the repeat button*" and as if that was not enough love, Asha Mamita added " Dope Dope Dope" to the comments section.

The fans are literally losing their sh*t over the release. Xtatic is arguably one of the most loved Kenyan female English rappers.

I talked to Xtatic exclusively about the delayed debut. I sensed excitement and optimism from the artiste.

This is her first major public interview after she .

"The video was shot back in 2012 and we were planning to release it back then - in fact, it had an original song which Dora had collaborated with Khaligraph Jones. It was delayed because of a few things; we saw this is the right time to release it. We just want more female empowerment...to us it's a timeless track," she said.

The rapper recently released a dope track dubbed "Let Me Explain" which features singer Iddi. It has received massive airplay and marked the femcee's signature return after some absence from the game.

"Actually, we never got to record together. What we did was she'd send us the songs individually...STL was not even around. I just remember everyone recording individually; I didn't know who was gonna be in the track. I just heard the final product and was like, 'this is really dope!'. Everyone went hard on the track." the "Wild" rapper revealed.

It's quite interesting how the crew united for a great jam, at a time when there's plenty of competition amongst female artistes. She tells me that she actually loves working more with female than with male artistes.

"I prefer working with females because not many females work together. We never see that a lot because guys are the ones who get so much traction. Someone feels like they wanna work with dudes. I love it when I see us working together," she added.

STL, Dora and Muthoni DQ had an incredible performance in the track; their lyrics were punching as usual. During the shoot, STL was rocking her signature short hair. We look forward to seeing them perform together!
