Thousands, among them political leaders, thronged the Bomet Green Stadium yesterday to pay their last respects to the late Diana Chemutai Musila popularly known as Chelele. Diana was found murdered in her house in Kapwen, Bomet County on 9th January and so far two suspects including her husband are in custody.

While addressing mourners at the Green Stadium, Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto assured them that the police are working hand in hand with the government to ensure that justice is served. The no-nonsense governor also said that the money collected during Diana Chelele’s burial will be used for her daughters' upkeep.
