Comedian Mohamed Tajiri popularly also known as Mzee Makanyaga passed away at his Majengo, Pumwani home yesterday.

Today, he was given a befitting send off at the Kariakor Cemetery.

Family friends and fans converged at the grave site to bury the TV legend.

Also in attendance were TV veteran actors from Vitimbi and Vioja Mahakamani.

Mzee Makanyaga, 85, was a veteran actor and comedian having acted in KBC/VOK programmes such as Zuberi, Chipukizi, Darubini, Vioja Mahakamani and Vitimbi.
