Big Brother Africa reality TV show is among the most followed shows on the continent. Since 2003, the show has seen rapid growth becoming one of the best. Aired for 90 days, the show involves participants from more than 10 countries from Africa who live in one house in competition for prize money.

Besides the competition, most of the participants in the big brother house go there to interact, socialize and make new friends. We have seen quite a number of the housemates engage in romantic relationships while there, yet once the show is over the romance also dies. However there are a few who continue with these relationships beyond the show.

Well, I came up with a list of the famous big brother housemates who coupled up while in the house.

1. Pokello and Elikem

The Kim and Kanye of Africa. Season 8 was full of beautiful, sexy, gorgeous women and handsome men. Most of the housemates ended up in relationships but only a few among them Pokello and Elikem the Ghanaian tailor have managed to stay together. The BBA power couple are set to wed soon. Huddah Monroe and Ann Mbaru were Kenya's representatives in the season 8.

2. Oneal and Feza

The beautiful Tanzanian lady Feza fell in love with Sierra Leone's Oneal. The two lovers have been silent but we hope they are still together.

3. Idris, Ella and Samantha

The hottie from season 9 and eventual winner. Ladies were all over him. From South Africa's Samantha to former Miss Uganda Ella. They were so close while in the big brother house but afterwards, Idris and Ella's relationship came to and end after he told her that he had no feelings for her. Of late, Idris and Samatha have been globe-trotting and from the look of things, something is definitely brewing between the two.

4. Hakeem and Cleo

The season 8 Big brother lovebirds. Hakeem and Cleo were the perfect couple but they later broke up.

5. Gaetano and Abby

Ugandan Gaetano gained fame after appearing on the Big Brother Show in 2003. Gaetano made headlines when he bonked his South African "girlfriend" Abby while cameras were recording. Shock unto you, he never settled down with Abby but later married his longtime girlfriend in a church ceremony.
