Citizen TV reporter Francis Gachuri is mourning another loved one from his family...His aunt Nancy Ngonyo Kamundi.

The journalist says this is the 4th person his family has lost since May this year through a road accident.

"Our family mourns for the 4th time since May 2017.

Another road accident. Another precious life lost.

Rest well auntie Nancy Ngonyo Kamundi.

We mourn you."

Gachuiri is however known to be one of the strongest yet courageous journalists and was recently attacked during a political meeting but responded by saying he is 'fine'.

“I am fine. Very fine. The incident at Wiper Hqs was unfortunate but all is well. Thank you for your kind regards. I have forgiven my fellow young men who roughed me up at the Wiper Hqs . I do so UNCONDITIONALLY. May they find true PEACE in their hearts. Our country is going through tough times that raise emotions. Hopefully all this ends well. I hold no grudge against my attackers. None.”

During the time his three children penned a heartfelt message for him, wishing nothing but blessings for their dad.

The letter read: “Dear loving Dad, We care about you so much. I hope you are fine and your heart will feel better and you will have HAPPINESS in your lips. wish you love, wisdom and faithfulness and lots of love. I love you very much.”
