Ohangla Singer Maureen Achieng’ Otiu, popularly known as Lady Maureen is not dead.

According to earlier social media report indicated that she passed on last night.

Verified reports indicate that it is a dancer identified as Maureen Nyar Awendo who has died.

This is the second time, Lady Maureen has been killed by social media.

In January rumours around social media indicated that she was dead but they were immediately rubbished.

She responded indicating that she was alive, undergoing treatment and ideally called on rumourmongers to stop spreading fake news.

“I am not dead. I was rushed here by my family members when my condition worsened. I am currently being transfused with blood. It has never been made clear what I am suffering from but my condition has worsened in recent days,” she said.

The the ‘Wangni Wabiro’ hitmaker has been in and out of the hospital for the last three years after she was diagnosed with hypotension (abnormally low blood pressure).
