The strong relationship between gospel singer Mr Seed and Bahati is not only in music but comes from a long way of upbringing.

It all began in the hood when they were young and raised by Mama.

Speaking during the Memorial service of Mr Seed's mum, Bahati narrated how he used to survive in the ghetto and how he met Mama Mr. Seed.

The celebrity got into their house and was welcomed by the mother. She sheltered and took him through his secondary education.

She met all his demands.

"Venye nilihamia kwa kina mr seed ,,,, That's how I moved in, Mama Mr seed blessed me Nikafanya secondary education,"

Bahati remembers the love and affection he received from his late mom. She supported him and provided the necessary assistance to him. That kept him motivated.

"Starting my music career she was there and she saw me struggling,,,, even when I was doing my first introduction and engagement to my wife Diana aliniita akanishonea nguo bado for free,"

The discipline Mama instilled in him and Mr. Seed was so special that made them become siblings under her parenting. She never contemplated any misunderstanding but treated them the same.

'She has been a true Mom,,,, Kuna wakati nilipigana na Mr seed,,,,,,,, one thing I love about mom she never wanted to know what nonsense was going on between me  and Mr seed ,,,,,, Alitaka kuona sisi wote tukiendelea vizuri,"

He regrets not showing up when he heard Mama was no more. It hit him hard since he didn't expect that. He had traveled to run some errands.

Bahati finishes by honoring Mama with a bible verse, Psalms  68;5.
