The Power Up producer Dan Gichuru in an interview with Mpasho's Tomma Kiteto stated the inspiration behind the show was to bridge the gap between the privileged elite and the lower-class communities, creating a space where listeners from all walks of life can relate.
"We were looking to stick within the culture where we have both the rich kids and underprivileged kids. Power Up aims to resonate with its audience, ensuring that everyone can relate to the discussions and experiences shared regardless of their backgrounds hence we chose hosts from both ends," he said
The show offers a unique blend of entertainment and relatable content as the name Power Up it will power up your morning with good vibes.
The show is Kenya's biggest urban Breakfast show in the +254.
