Bike enthusiast Bob Chacha is one of the two people in Kenya owning a BMW German machine bike.
The German-engineered BMW S1000 RR represents the pinnacle of motorcycle technology and design. This particular model, released in 2021, comes with a staggering price tag of sh4.3 million.
What sets this machine apart is not just its sleek aesthetics but also its incredible performance; it can achieve speeds that exceed those of an airplane when traveling on the ground.
In an interview with Mpasho's Tomma Kiteto, Bob revealed his bike is super powerful as it moves at a speed of 0-100km/h in 2.3seconds and has several driving modes making it a true luxury item for motorcycle enthusiasts
"My bike cost me sh4.3million because it is a BMW S1000 RR making it very expensive. The bike is very comfortable and moves faster than a plane on the ground. It has several driving modes like race mode which makes it more faster, rain mode which sets the bike rainproof and road mode," he explained
Bob has plans to upgrade the bike by replacing the stock exhaust and fairings with high-quality aftermarket carbon fiber components.
Additionally, he aims to install upgraded brakes, which will provide better stopping power and responsiveness.
These enhancements will not only elevate the motorcycle's performance but also ensure a safer and more exhilarating riding experience, which will reflect his personal style.
"I have plans of upgrading the bike exhaust and fairings to aftermarket carbon fiber The carbon fiber fairings not only enhance the bike's aesthetic appeal with a sleek and modern look but also contribute to reducing overall weight which improves performance and handling,".
