The presenter also explained that he got a lot of inspiration from Jalang'o and was also influenced by his mother who was also a radio personality,
He then credited Muchina Malomba for being his mentor on his career journey.
Jakes reflected on how his age(18 years) had caused mixed reactions amongst netizens having to reveal that he studied the IGSCE system which made him join college at a tender age.
He went on to divulge that him securing a spot at the Homeboyz radio meant that he had already graduated with a diploma and was currently pursuing a degree at Daystar University.
The presenter jokingly expressed his views on getting a lover when he said that he was still a child.
He added that women were scary and he was actively guarding his heart and vows to remain loyal to the Lord praying that He brings forth a good lady.
