In recent days, a great debate has been stirred over the worrying rise of murders of young women by their 'lovers'.

In less than two weeks, 3 young women have been found murdered in controversial ways, two of them being murdered while in apartments they had gone to meet their men.

Socialite Zari Hassan, who is in Kenya to promote the Samsung mobile phone brand, was able to talk about this murder which many have said is targeting ladies unjustly.

Speaking to Kalondu Musyimi of Mpasho, Zari advised the sisters to be careful with people they date especially at Airbnbs.

Zari said that now is the time for girls to take more care of themselves and prioritize their lives instead of putting their interests first and pursuing love without knowing that it is a death trap.

"I think we need to be more vigilant, the killings were very cruel, I saw them on TikTok, I saw bodies being loaded from houses, really, sister, if you really need to go on those dates, make sure you inform your close people where you are going and where you are going who to meet and things like that,” Zari advised.

This is happening at a time when the family of the beautiful woman who was killed in Roysambu on AirBnB came forward and claimed that their daughter was killed by the person who met her at an apartment.

The family of the girl, Rita Waeni said that they received messages from the killer who wanted half a million to leave their loved one but unfortunately, they could not get that amount.

Rita's body was found in a sack and thrown out of the house on the side of the road, in pieces. So far, her head has not been found.
