Kenyan actress Apondi Olielo popularly know as Mum Zara on Salem, is out here spill beans on her role in the Telenovela. 

Speaking with Mpasho she explained her role in the TV series Salem.

In her role, she is one of the people who are manipulative in character. She acts all good but in a real life she is the total opposite of what she portrays. She even called herself a badass.

"I am the King Pin of Salem, as mama zee I am a tough woman who pretends to be God-fearing, church-going but I am the toughest, the baddest.

I carjack cars and even initiate my daughters in it, strong like Jackie take over the weaker ones like Soila shy off and I accept her. I am that woman; nobody jokes with Mum Zee."

As Mpasho, we asked her about the positive reception they received since they started airing their series.

She said that she was very happy with how fans received their Telenovela, something that gave them the energy to keep pushing.

She continues to reveal that some fans have even expressed concerns about her well-being as far as a role on Salem is Concerned.

Many are praying for her safe return based on the fact that she is in a comma on the show.

Apondi confessed that she a big fan of Salem, as after completing the shot, she always goes home to join her family so that they can watch the show together.

She noted that when the shows start airing in her house all distractions are eliminated until it's over.
