Mike Mondo has just turned 42 and Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, caught up with him to get to know how he feels about life at 42.

"I have turned 42, but I don't feel like I am 42, I feel like I am still in my 30's honestly I just have some 8 years to hit 50."

The presenter said that as for him he loves growing up and getting older, and that's why he is looking at it like that.

We also asked him about some of the life lessons he has gotten to learn in his life 42 years later and he said some very important facts.

"It is important to get to really know and understand yourself, this is something that people really underestimate"

He says that this is one thing that people really do not take time to and you should just live your life unapologetically.

To him he has no regrets in life but then he looks at them like as things that he would have done differently in his life.

"my biggest achievement in life is just to be the father of two very amazing daughters, and climbing up the ladder career wise and I know where I want to go career wise'

We enquired whether there are some things that he feels like he has still not ticked off his bucket list of activities.

"there is one thing I actually want to do, I want to ride a speed bike in that place in Athi river that people go to"

The father believes that as one grows older also the bucket list you have keeps changing and even the things you want to engage in.

He says as much as he would love to ride that bike and he can't do it but that is something, he is really looking forward to do in the year.
