• H_art the band opens up on some of the projects that they have been upto including their new album.
The trio was part of the many artists who came to support Fena Gitu during her album launch at the Alchemist last week on Thursday.
In an interview with Hannie Petra, a Mpasho journalist, they were able to share about their music and two cents on a few things in the industry.
The musicians praised Fena Gitu for her skill and passion in music and they were looking forward to enjoying the album.
As the first Kenyan artistes to collaborate with Tanzanian musician Zuchu, they shared how they were able to get that opportunity.
"You know us we listen to any music, bora it's good music and for Zuchu, she reached out to us and said there's a track she wanted us to work on together."
The young men shared that they asked her to send it over and they listened to it and they loved it so they just chose to work with her.
This was such a great project for them as the coming together of such artists and such fusion of music.
"Zuchu is a dope artist and is putting Africa on the map and she is doing the purpose that is supposed to be done by every musician put their nation on the map."
They also have a new album out that they finished working on and they said it has 10 tracks to celebrate the ten years they have been in the game.
H_art the band also shared that they have only one collabo in the entire album as they wanted to keep it just authentic.
"Reason hatujafanya collabo na wasanii wengine ni juu, tunataka tu watu waenjoy the music ya h_art the band tuwakumbushe ile muziki nzuri ya kitambo"
They shared that the new album is a mixture of growth, music, and the original H_art the band sound and that they were inspired by time.
